The European Cricket League (ECL) has signed a long-term partnership with the Bulgaria Cricket Federation ensuring that the Bulgarian domestic champion club in 2021 will be invited to ECL22 - the Champions League of European cricket. “We are very excited to partner with the Bulgaria Cricket Federation. Andrey Lilov, Prakash Mishra and his team are continually pushing the boundaries on and off the field to make the game shine in Bulgaria,” said Daniel Weston, Founder of the European Cricket League. “Plans to take the game to a higher level are in place and with their domestic champions to be on the world stage at the ECL is another incentive for the club structure in Bulgaria to expand." Following the postponement of ECL20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the second staging of the European Cricket League - ECL21 - will now take place from May 30 to June 6, 2021, with 16 champion teams - spread over eight days of T10 games at La Manga Club in Spain.
