The new three-year deal replaces Cricket Ireland’s previous deal with Turkish Airlines. The sponsorship for men’s cricket is a big boost for Cricket Ireland, as preparations for the ODI series continue in England starting on July 30. The deal will also mean that ITW will provide in-kind services to Cricket Ireland in support of its commercial and marketing objectives.
As a shirt sponsoring rights holder, ITW will bring on board a number of major brands to leverage the global profile of Irish cricket. The first brands to appear on the kit during the upcoming ODI series are Mobile Premier League (MPL) and SKODA.
MPL is India’s largest e-sports and mobile gaming platform and is endorsed by Indian captain Virat Kohli. SKODA is the Czech car manufacturer giant founded in 1895 and supplying cars to over 100 countries.
